Challenging Bias

Strategic Goal: Accountability. This workshop reviews the concept of unconscious bias through a series of interactive experiences and activities that encourage participants to acknowledge their biases in new ways. When biases go unacknowledged and unchallenged, negative interactions between employees become more and more common – especially through everyday microaggressions. Participants will then explore ways to address incidents of bias and respond to microaggressions in various situations in order to foster a culture of inclusion and belonging across the organization. The goal of this training is to provide participants with a concrete understanding of bias and microaggressions, so they can apply those skills in future DEI&B trainings about using your privilege and being an ally.
